Our cycling opportunities are brimming with scenic routes & mountain trails! Tour the back country roads through rich farmland or plan a day in the National Forest for a biking adventure!

Hikers can explore a variety of trails within miles of the farm. Trails will take you through beautiful forests, up to lookouts for expansive views of the valley & Shenandoah river below, as well as crystal clear streams teeming with fish & wildlife!

Brook Trail Loop (on the farm)
Our very own quaint walking trail right here on the farm! A 3/4 mile loop through the most natural part of the property charges your inner adventurer and brings you to a completely unique view of the farm. The Brook Trail Loop will take guests down an old cow path, through a tunnel of tall cedars & circle back to the platform following the crystal clear rapids of our Bally Brook stream!
Mountain Bike Park & virginia mountain biking trail
The Mountain Bike Park at Bryce Mountain Resort features an array of unique bike trails accessed by specialty designed lifts from the bottom of the mountain. Trails are available for all skill levels from beginner to advanced with some trails over 2 miles in length! Get outfitted with bike rental, pads & gear at the Learning Center & Bike Shop where certified instructors will help get you all set for a day on the mountain!
Or if a more adventurous (and advanced) trek sounds appealing, Virginia’s first permanent back country mountain biking trail could be your next epic ride! The Virginia Mountain Biking Trail runs the length of the Allegheny & Blue Ridge Mountain ranges by connecting 8 major trail systems throughout the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. Blue Ridge Outdoor Magazine recently said The Virginia Mountain Biking Trail is, “Poised to be the South’s sweetest stretch of single track.”
Shenandoah Mountain Tours
Shenandoah Mountain Tours offers both road & mountain biking tours throughout the George Washington National Forest. Full day guided tours range from beginner to advanced and include a professional guide as well as lunch. They also offer bike rentals! Reservations are needed in advance!
